Trying to do one little 'shabbying' project a week till they're all done..........next week I've got in mind my Dads old wooden tray he made.
What would be the next kind of paint to use on it ? I'm thinking gloss as I'd like a fairly sturdy finish but not sure...........think I may just have some gloss the right colour lurking in the cupboard so trying to be a bit 'moneysaving' as well.Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Mary, I'd use satinwood as its fairly hardwearing but not as shiny as glossWe don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0

i am in the middle of painting my old serving tray, i am using satin wood... which to be honest i am using for everything.....lol...
the colour i am using is crazy cream... which i am using for the skirting boards, and thats what i painted the hostess trolley/dumb waiter with...as you say saving money by not using too many paints/coloursWork to live= not live to work0 -
