Well although I post comments rather than projects I still love being on here. However today I am frantically washing and packing for my trip to Australia on monday. I will be away for 6 weeks visiting my son and family, so please don't forget me. I will have a lot of catching up to do 6 weeks worth of posts to read:eek: . Hope someone comes along soon so you can get your fix, I know how you feel I love seeing photos of peoples houses.0 -

Maypole: have a lovely time.
I have to admit, I've been on the other thread, as I'm currently making my first roman blind and it's taking a lot of attention, with the online help I'm getting. It didn't seem right to post about it here, as it's not strictly shabby chic (though it is cath kidston!). I could post if you like.
However, if some of you haven't been there/can't get on it this morning, I posted the following link, as I was so excited to find it. But warning, if you go there, say goodbye to an hour or so! It's hugely inspirational if you love wallpaper, as there are
1. gorgeous wallpapers
2. you see them in different room settings, some beautifully shabby chic, but all stunning.
There are no prices, and it's undoubtedly expensive, but it's the ideas I love. (though I am lusting after a couple of the papers...
So, you have been warned...:p

Ah, the hessian is from a fabric sample that I sent off for and I sewed the word on myself.
Thank you...I love the mug too - it's totally impractical to drink from but looks pretty on the dresser!
