Does anyone have any ideas what i can do with cream throws except for the obvious i dont want to cover my quilts on the beds as i have the rose/check ones from ikea which i love so dont want to hide them but it seems a shame as i have about 6 throws some with tassles round edges etc but they are all just piled on top of the wardrobe.
Im sure someone mentioned making curtains out of them just not sure if that wud work, any ideas welcome!!0 -
nomoney - why not make them into big cushion throws for the floor or smaller cushions and boulsters (sp?) for the bed? I think they would work as decorative curtains too - all you would need are those curtain rings with the little clippy pegs on to attach the throws to......fasten them back with a couple of decorative tie backs and youre doneWin £2012 in 2012 challenge 0/2012

Thanks to everyone for their comments about my charity shop finds. There is one local charity shop near to us and they are beyond cheap. Every time I go in I am served by a different person and given different prices for similar items. I try to nip in there most days as there are some real bargains to be had. We also have two big name charity shops in our villages and it is harder to find good things in there and they seem to have put their prices up to match ebay prices. But hey they are still cheaper than going to a high end store.:j
Nomoney, do you have any photos of your throws?Anyone fancy buying my degree? It will only cost you £18k.

Nomoney............think it might have been me who mentioned making curtains to someone who'd managed to pick one up for £1 in a charity shop, if I remember right.
They would make lovely thick curtains, warm for the winter.
Vivw -the Crown sample I've got is caled Tree House.
Have had to put off visit to Focus due to our lad here giving us a few concerns about going off and leaving him.
Now the little so and so has gone out so we could have gone but OH has gone to see how the burnt down workshop is ..........typical.Mary

Where did you get your housekeeping boxes from? I'd really like one
And I'm hugely grateful to them.
They are reduced to £4.99, and I've bought three, and they are so incredibly useful (and well made). They also have some of Linda Barker's £45 cutlery, selling for £7.99 a set of 4, and it's gorgeously heavy cutlery. I've replaced mine, as our cutlery was basically all bits and pieces from garage giveaways collected over the years (and very ugly)! So thank you to the original poster.
