Hi, I'd like to use up some of my fabric collection and thought I'd make some bunting, would someone be kind enough to let me have some instructions? Do you use double thickness fabric for example? Thanks x
It depends what kind of look you want.I tend to cut 2 long triangle then sew wrong sides together along the long edges.Turn the right way out use binding tape to connect them all together sealing the other triangle edge in as I go.
You can just use pinking shears to cut the triangles out and attach them to ribbon or binding tape. That way is much quicker and uses less fabric and time.

Hi Vivw: From the site somebody mentioned earlier in the thread: halfcost.co.uk
And I'm hugely grateful to them.
They are reduced to £4.99, and I've bought three, and they are so incredibly useful (and well made). They also have some of Linda Barker's £45 cutlery, selling for £7.99 a set of 4, and it's gorgeously heavy cutlery. I've replaced mine, as our cutlery was basically all bits and pieces from garage giveaways collected over the years (and very ugly)! So thank you to the original poster.

Thanks so much. I've now ordered two housekeeping boxes and two sets of cannisters all in cream for less price than some are charging for one box.:j:j:j
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

The butterflies one is also a photo off of http://www.sxc.hu but of course it could have just been that somebody photographed the wrapping paper.
