    I've been Money Tipped!
    Does anyone know about upholstery?

The nursing chair I bought yesterday needs the cushion support completely replacing. I've read up on how to do it, but I'm not sure what type of webbing and tacks to use, or the best place to buy them?

I am not speaking from experience as up to now I've not used either but I do know you have to be careful what varnish you use as they can 'yellow' over time. I also know paint takes a long time to really harden so would leave it a week before doing anything.

Ebay - or if you like to see what you're buying, look in yellow pages for upholstery suppliers ?

That looks really nice with the china on, the rich colours go well with the pale wood. I filled my dresser with all the things I find in junk shops so if you want it fuller and don't have much crockery, you can pick lovely second hand things up quite cheaply. How nice to have something in your home made by your husband.
