Hello again Vintage pleasure, just one more question, I promise:o .

What colour paint do you use on your woodwork? doors skirting etc

Also, just a thought came to me when you mentioned Manchester in your post, did you know that in Australia, they call the linen department in their stores "Manchester", you ask them for directions to the bedding and they say oh it's in "Manchester", probably because of the association with the cotton mills I suppose. :rotfl:

Ha! And they used to in South Africa too - was just telling someone about it last week!

  • Loving this thread. I now need to work out how to justify buying this. Sorry, the website won't let me post the pic directly.

I'd have thought you'd find this almost impossible to resist :rotfl:

PS Just in case people don't notice on their own, I've just done a little link ( my very first ;) )

Please explain how you did it? :D

Love the websites. John Lewis one looks divine. Glad I'm too far from temptation. The penguins are really cute too.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Triage999, If you send for the Farrow and Ball paint chart they send a pack of info. Inside there are pictures of wallpaper and some are very nice. There are some nice stripes and on of bumble bees, which I love.
