I wonder if anyone can help.......I need two waste paper bins for our office/study area at home. As its in the room off the kitchen that leads to the livingroom I want it to look attractive but at the same time I'd like it to be cheapish.....any ideas anyone?

Viv I just found this site - http://www.claroenterprises.co.uk/mdf_blanks.asp lots of different shapes for decoupage there. I've bookmarked it for future reference!! ;)

I love the writing slope (at the bottom of the page), it would look good with my old dip pens and blotter :D

Im so pleased I stumbled upon this thread! What a great idea!
Ive been "doing" shabby chic for a while now and love it so much Ive just opened a small ebay shop selling such things. Some I hand make myself some are vintage treasures that I cant fit in my home but cant leave behind either!!

These are a couple of my own makes:
A desk dresser tidy made with original 1940s postcards and victorian photos

A vintage china tea cup made into a pin cushion!

    All the one's I have seen since are £400 - £500
