just sat feeding the baby so catching up on posts a bit....trying to limit my internet habit to when i am already sat i.e feeding baby.....as realised too much looking at what I could do in house and not enough doing!!!
Well some of you have had a fab few days bargain picking up!!! I am so-oo jealous...our freecycle isn't that great for shabby chic finds - but I live in hope. Our big local car boot ain't all that either!!!! becoming more like a market with pound stalls - but then if i went more frequently i might have more luck!!!
Tomorrow I plan to go to TK Maxx - haven't been for ages - fancy a look at the Le Creuset stuff I love the pans (don't last forever in my house I have burnt thru bottom of 2 - no idea how!!!)
On a money saving note - I am selling my old dinner service on ebay and it has already reached high enough to cover cost of 1 i bought at ikea at the weekend :T - so i feel justified in changing it.0 -

Oooohhh lovely, Tea Chests are going to be delivered tonight!! lovely lady from Freecycle is going to drop them over!
When hubby and I were first married and were VERY poor we (we, well he really;) ) made a big dining table from 2 tea chests and an old door which he edged with wood beading. He finished it with a dark coloured varnish and we used it for years and years. My niece had it after us and then she passed it onto another cousin, I don't suppose it is still around now but it served it's purpose and we loved it!:D0
