It's actually "Nappisan". The correct spelling might help finding it online. In the shops it is usually with the baby stuff, but sometimes with the stain removers. It's a powder in a small blue white and red box (about double the size of the large household size boxes of matches you used to be able to buy) if that helps you look for it on the shelves.

    It is magic stuff.

    Hi all.
My youngest son is 12 and is in nappies he has severe autisim and other disablites . His nappies currently provided through the NHs, for which we are greatful .
As he is getting bigger the supply is running out and you need to get them from disablity shops whom mark it up .. When i asked if the nhs could up his supply we where told they where allocated , in Wiltshire apparently it's 3 a day.
So my question is this . Do you know how the allocation system is set or have you ever got it in creased .Links that i ciuld reffernce would be fantastic
My son's school nurse whom did the assesment was told by her superiors that he gets d la and that should cover it .
I know it sounds like a im scrounging but the dla gets used up on his other needs he goes through clothes like you would not believe
    any advice would be great
  • There's a big section here on re-usable nappies including people selling them and advisors
