I had a 'hot baby' and bambino mio (which we started with) were too hot. Moved on to Motherease one size with the airflow wrap. Worked a treat. Sold them on ebay when we'd finished with them and I have to say I got nearly all my money back. Hth0

I will be reading this thread closely. From the all research I've done so far, I've heard that Motherease Wraps are the best and can be used with other brands of fitted nappies and terries. (Not prefolds)0

We have motherease nappies and wraps - we bought them second hand before ebay altered their rules.
I know the nappies take longer to dry than some brands, but they're very easy to use- even nursery only had to be shown once how to use them.
I hope when we no longer need them that they'll sell on some of the second hand nappy sites. The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -
what you want from your nappies may be different from other people. Do you need a quick dry? or slim fitting? Do you mind folding? or would the quickest to get on option be best for you? Or perhaps you need something really absorbent like me.
i like 2 part systems and pocket nappies. A shaped nappy and a motherease rikki wrap r great, ive tried tots, little lamb, swaddlebees, lollipop softee all have their own differences and benefits. The softee drys super quick, swaddlebees are quite slim fitting, tots are pretty good, little lamb tend to fall apart so id stay away from them lol.
pockets r great and good for showing offI love fuzzi bunz although there are lots and lots of wham made pocket nappied which are just lovely. Pockets dry quickly as u unstuff them and let the inside and nappy itself dry seperate. They arent too great at containment in the first few months though

I have a mixed collection and i love them all for different reasons.
Bumbles- love that they are fleece lined and stuffable , they dry mega quick.
Wee Notions- all in one pocket nappies so no faffing, gorgeous fabrics, great for relatives to use
Tots Bots- lovely and fluffy for that fairy liquid baby look, come in pastels too
And good old terry squares- they double up as mat liners, mopups, burp clothes, can fold them any way to suit baby's build.
I use motherease wraps and Wee wonders

For all-round performance, durability and ease of washing and drying, I loved Motherease one-size (with Motherease wraps). I used my set for three babies and was able so sell them on with plenty of life left in them. Since I had my children, I think there is a similar nappy on the market - One Life? - which has a little bit more stretchiness I think. I also really liked pocket nappies for night-times especially, Swaddlebees and Wee Notions were great.0

Another thread on reusable nappies HERE
I was going to buy my daughter a Bambino Mio set that is for birth to potty , but found some reviews where several people said they leaked so I bought her THIS Tot Bots set as it had a much better review and I got 20% off with a voucher code from Mother & Baby magazine that I found on the couponsurfers website. I hope they're ok :undecidedSame old same old since 20080 -
sheel - tots bots nappies are great, but a lot of people rnt fond of their wraps. If you dont get on with them check out motherease rikki wraps, you should be able to get some 2nd hand very cheap. They cost about £8 new, so if you get 2nd hand it would cost less that that
Also I would sugest 20 nappies for the start rather than 15, but thats not too much of a problem, you could even just get some terries nice and cheap of ebay or free frem freecycle
or if you wanted to buy more nappies you could buy a few show off nappies as the OP up there said from www.weenotions.com or a few general 2nd hand nappies to try out other brands on www.usednappies.com

Fantastic! Let the debate continue. I'm after quick drying as I live in a flat with minimal room, although i've a garden, no tumble tho!
