Nappy advice

used them with the other 2 who are now 7 and 9, and they are still in the loft somewhere. would never use anything else, and still nothing like a line of white nappies. even the nursery that they attended used them as long as I folded them into a kite first!
Question is where can I buy the plastic pants and the throw away liners from nowadays. I think I bought them from Grahams, or Boots but haven't seen them when I called in.
many thanks0 -
Time2change sell disposable liners on a roll £2,90 for 100, £4.45 for 200 and the waterproof plastic pants £2.00 for a pack of 3. They have free postage too.
Edit: sorry just checked and the liners are discontinued.Dum Spiro Spero0 -
https://www.teamlollipop.co.uk will do them or u can buy from an agent.
Can i advise not to use plastic pants because they have the same problem that disposables do with the lack of airflow and retaining heat (which has been linked to lower sperm counts in males). Try something like a motherease rikki wrap, they do cost a bit more but you can easily sell them on the 2nd hand market and indeed you can buy them on it too from somewhere like https://www.usednappies.co.uk0 -

as a user of terry squares for my first two babies, and 80% so far for baby #3, I would recomend ebay. ''motherease'' wraps seem to rate very highly (i am very happy with mine), but would stall with the liners until breastfed baby is on solids because the poo is so liquidy that a liner is a waste.

I get my liners from http://www.babykind.co.uk/index.htm. I also use fleece liners. I agree wholeheartedly with the motherease wraps, although we have some from http://www.weenotions.co.uk/ too.The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0

I too use fleecy liners, made 'em myself from some fleece I bought from the market, lasted through DD1 to DD2 now!
I do have a stash of paper liners though. To be honest I prefer to start off a newborn in eco disposables (I know they're a little more expensive that 'ordinary' disposables but the normal ones are horrible, horrible things!) then switch to cloth nappies after the meconium has bid us farewell!
Wraps I used to always buy secondhand on ebay (sob sob!) but I always stick with https://www.kittykins.co.uk for nappy stuff. Fantastic service and great choice of goods, the website is so clearly laid out that once I found it, I never looked back! I'd go with wraps, but you might have to sample a few before you find the right type. I've always found Motherease very reliable but it does depend on what sort of nappy you are using. For terry I'd go with the Motherease Rikki as LilMissEmmylou mentioned. The Airflow are great but much more suited to shaped cloth nappies I tned to find.Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

That's a good point, the plastic ones don't have a good airflow but if it reduces sperm count in males it does make you wonder how we're all here as I'm sure most, if not all, babies used plastic pants before disposables and the new wraps were available!
yes this is true we are all here... but look at how hard so many people have to try to conceive these days - plus motherease feel nice and soft0 -
thanks for your advice so far, things seem to have changed then since I had my first 2 boys.
have I got this right I can use the old style terry square then you put one of these 'wraps' over the cotton nappy, so that it doesn't leak ( ie instead of the plastic pants )??
do you have to wash these every time or do they last of couple of nappy changes. and do you wash them with the nappies in a soaking bucket. (or is that old hat also !!!)
