Yep me too Maggie. On days of zero energy it's nice to just pet some wool isn't it :) xx

Well the truth is I have not done much knitting since I got back from Malta. I just can't to get going again. I need some good TV programs to watch.

I don't think they are my sort of thing. I will have a look. I was behind with a couple of things before I went away and they were all taken off when I got back.

I unravelled about half of my blanket (well, the start of it really... Been about 40 rounds in...) because of a mistake in the pattern... Thought very hard about leaving it as it is but then decided that I will still have to work on it for so long and it would only annoy me each time I see it... It was not a mistaky-mistake but just something which was different on the chart than on the photograph and I like the version on the photograph better, although it would have looked nice the other way round too.

Welcome Katzen! I think you're far better off here than in the flylady thread :-) After all a shiny sink is no requirement for knitting :-)

Mardatha, it is indeed very cruel to have only one ball of yarn, after all they are pack animals! I just hope that there is no rule of how many balls of yarn you can keep together as I would get into trouble for keeping them in crowded conditions... :-)

So, I will now clean the kitchen from the usual cooking mes and then sit down knitting owls. If I'm not too tired since I had a meeting yesterday evening and wasn't home before quarter to eleven and in bed by half past... It is always a joy to have meetings with a couple of guys who rather talk food than business... I often feel like I'm trapped in this old and quite funny short story where a couple of people spend about three pages talking about "sawsidges" and the "dawg" who ate some of them...

    Happy knitting!

I hope so to considering the bags crammed full of wool I have.

It's just a pity they don't breed when you keep them all together, isn't it? :rotfl:

Thought I'd knitted my gruffalo two left arms today, but a bit of fiddling about has produced one of each, now complete with thumbs and claws. Only 38 more pieces to knit and stitch on :(
