It was a pattern that I started out with and went very wrong but couldn't be bothered to unpick so kept going with my revised version! It is an 8 patt rows.
lst row; knit 1, slip 1, knit three, repeat till end. 2nd row: purl l, slip one, purl 3, repeat to end. 3rd row; same as lst, 4th row; knit all the way to end. 5th row; knit 3, slip 1, repeat to end. 6th row; purl 3, slip l, repeat to end. 7th row; same as lst. 8th row; knit to end.

I do hope I've written that down right! gives a nice texture with a look of crochet about it.

hope that is not pink Cuddles :rotfl:the colours come out nothing like do they?

    It's very nice.

knitting like mad to finish my Christmas Presents. DD coming from Saudi Arabia for a wedding in December. I need to get a parcel to a guest by 20th this month. They don't have enough leave left to come and see me and the wedding is in her DHs family not ours. It's only the second year I have been able to post Christmas presents in the last 16 years. Not all mail is as secure as ours.

Do hope you manage to get all your knitting done and your parcel away on time.

Just realised I didn't post the picture of the green one - which looks a browny mustard!

Ahhhh! That's really cute! I'm nearly finished knitting a huge christmas stocking for my son's partner - trouble is he's going to have to fill it!
If anyone wants some ideas for quick-ish Christmas knits (we still have a bit of time - 20 days!) I've found some of my inspiration from a round up of over 150 Christmas knitting patterns from around the web HERE.

I love the first jumper cuddles. I seem to have given up on my knitting at the moment. Need to try and get myself back in the swing of things as I've got a cardigan and a vest top on the go for my son. If I don't get on with them soon they'll be too small for him :o
