so not had much testing but I have another set I need to test out so I am hoping the key is the .. key.. haha!!

Each time I buy some new tips for my KnitPro Interchangeables (I haven't got a full set yet - just buy them when I need them!), I screw them together with the cord a few times, using the wire key, to get rid of any metal burrs that might stop them coming fully together. Seems to have worked so far!

Interchangeables are brilliant for large, heavy items that are knitted back and forth - the weight sits comfortably on your knees, instead of making your arms ache! Worked a treat on the Chunky baby blanket that I made for my first Grandchild.

And the great thing is, I've got a set of connectors, so I was able to knit the blanket edging, in the round, by joining several cords (all different lengths! Lol).

You could try making it less skinny and a longer dress. Maybe try the hat shorter. It still looks like a witch. Maybe some trousers would help.

Sorry sounds like I am altering it completely.

Thanks for that - will keep trying!

This is my scrappy shawl - made out of all the small balls I had left after knitting the charity hats.:money: (pinned out to block at the moment)
I'm actually quite pleased with the way that the colours have worked out.

Just finished knitting a cardi in aran yarn and totally forgot to add the inset pockets, now how daft was that!:o (as I had nearly finished I wasn't about to unravel it all either!)
    Pictures here http://www.highlandsockies.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/chunky-cardi-buttons-and-brooch.html

Still not worked out how to put photos up here after photoshop changed their layout a year or so ago!

I love this cardigan, where did you have the pattern from? X
