    sewing up needle used.. let's see how many rounds I get done.. I was managing 3 rows before needing to tighten.

    I have some Addi metal ones but they make my arthritis angry so I got the rosewood interchangables.. they are just prettier! I have a couple of Pony ones as well which the cable-needle transition is much smoother .. thank you for your assistance.. :)

    I have Knitpro in wood, plastic and metal and have never had a problem with any of them.

    The extra tightening seems to have worked.. ty .. *feels big of a muppet*

    I've found a wire thingy in a pack so I'm guessing that it the thing for tightening. :)

    I'm knitting Christmas presents and not knitted anything for charity in a long long time. it is quite nice to think of it going to someone I don't know.

    Are your tips still on Pigpen?

    I am trying to adapt the Tiny Witch pattern to make an elf, but it's not coming out right

    You could try making it less skinny and a longer dress. Maybe try the hat shorter. It still looks like a witch. Maybe some trousers would help.

    Sorry sounds like I am altering it completely.

    I've just started the second hat.. in the car on the way to Tesco yesterday.. what do you mean you can't knit and drive?? lol so not had much testing but I have another set I need to test out so I am hoping the key is the .. key.. haha!!

    I have an Alan Dart gnome/elf pattern .. its just a magazine pullout it is fairly similar.. would a copy of that help?
