Maytaurus, thanks for the link to the site. The little bunnies are gorgeous! I can think of two little babies that they would do very nicely for!

This is a great article about using what you already have as tools for future garments. Its all about how to measure and compare that with the drawing of the shape on the pattern.

Please look as I am very aware I've described it very badly! :p

I can just see a couple of those eggs dangling from my dgd Caitlin's pram hood this Easter - she can't have any choccie easter eggs due to her cow's milk intolerance :( .

They're probably better for her, but if you want to give Caitlin a taste of chocolate, look out for Kinnerton ( I think that's how it's spelt:o ) eggs. They do a dairy-free version, that we sometimes got from Woolworth's for DGS when he couldn't have cow's milk. He grew out of it, fingers crossed for Caitlin, it's a real pain isn't it?

Many thanks for that Churchmouse. Going to check them out now to see if they have a website - fingers (and everything else) crossed!!!

Here it is - and they sell in Asda as well, according to their website.

    Hello everyone.

I have just started knitting and am currently working towards making a square! Go me!

I hope that this new hobby works out for me, I've heard it can be quite theraputic especially for people like me whose fingers swell.

I've joined Ravelry and hope to get into this!

Well done, Natzini. We've all started somewhere - and soon one square becomes two and then three.

Before you know where you are, you've got enough for a pram cover/doll's cot cover.

I've got patterns for crocheted squares that were then made up into ponchos for toddlers, tabard tops, waitcoats and lots of other stuff. No reason why the same couldn't be done using knitted squares as well!
