Just wondering if someone can help with this (thank you in advance)

I am doing this pattern and am not sure if I'm doing it right.

I've cast on 132 sts (the original pattern calls for 44) as I want to do it as a blanket. However when trying to do row 2 (which I've redone twice) I don't seem to have enough stitches to complete the entire row (which only becomes apparent when I get to what should be the last four stitches)

    Row 2: K2, P2, K1, (YO, K1) 4 times, P2, K6, SSK and pass, YO, K1, YO, P2, YO, K1, YO, SL1, K2tog, PSSO, K6, P2, K1, (YO, K1) 4 times, P2, K2

I think it may be to do with the section I've underlined as I've never come across a decrease instruction worded like think and searching for it doesn't seem to help to clear up any confusion I had (I'm fine with any SSK/PSSO/K2tog type decreases).

    Thank you again

I use circular needles to knit straight a lot too, much easier on the arms.
    Here is my latest socks:

For DS, he choose the yarn (which I first hated as had problems with it in other shades, but learned to love!).

As written, that row uses 44 stitches so there are no mistakes. The 'SSK and pass' technique is described in the pattern notes - it's a centred double decrease:
SSK and pass = SSK, return the resulting stitch to left-hand needle and with point of right-hand needle pass the next stitch over it and off needle, then sl the stitch back to right-hand needle

Try putting a stitch marker every 44 stitches dividing it into the three pattern repeats so you can spot where you are going wrong.

Thank you - sorry I should have specified 4 stitches from the end of the first set of 44 stitches (first thing I do when casting on so many stitches is add stitch markers - my lovely sisters love shouting out odd numbers to confuse me when I'm trying to keep track!)

I've followed exactly as described in the pattern instructions but ended up with 3 stitches both times (I know I'm going wrong but couldn't correctly identify how to resolve it!)

With the ssk and pass - I've been slipping 2 knitting one returning the last stitch that's knitted (or is that where I'm going wrong and I should be slipping all three stitches?) passing that knitted over and slipping it back to the rh needle.

    Thank you again

It just shows there is no such thing as a daft question, at least you know how to do it now :)
