What is your favourite cast on?
I have been experimenting with different cast on techniques, although the Italian tubular cast on is still suspect.
The decorative one's are fun to do and add an interesting twist to garment.

just finished chunky jumper for daughter whos 20, just took about 2 years to do, as got fed up of knitting it. also made some baby cardies to get back in the swing, so need to sew and button these before i start anything else.No. 83 in £365.00 in 365 days 17/365

This is a nice one. Picot cast on.
I am using the Channel Island cast on for an aran jacket I am knitting. It has stretch and works with a knit one purl one rib.
It's also used for the top of sock tops and gloves.
