What is your favourite cast on?

I have been experimenting with different cast on techniques, although the Italian tubular cast on is still suspect.

The decorative one's are fun to do and add an interesting twist to garment.

Do you have any links showing these please?

I am using the Channel Island cast on for an aran jacket I am knitting. It has stretch and works with a knit one purl one rib.
It's also used for the top of sock tops and gloves.

This was kindly posted by greentiger on the Sewing Thread and I thought it would be ideal for us knitters. Knitting stitches.
