I've found the service from Get Knitted to be great in the past susan and you usually get a free pen and a lollipop in your package!

Made another using 2 strands of Aran yarn. Gauge is just slightly bigger but fits OK.

Thank goodness I have managed to finish off two projects - a hottie cover and a knitted doll. I am itching to start something new but I still have 2 further items to finish!
Is there a photo of the knitted doll please?

My 3.00 mm Knit Pro metal tips arrived this morning so I shall be able to get on and knit the border round the hood of no3's stripey jumper. It's a Debbie Bliss pattern sized up to fit as the pattern only goes up to 18 months and he will have grown out of that come the summer.

Whilst waiting for the post, I've spent my knitting time finishing another of the mitred squares I'm making for a blanket. This is a long-term project using variagated Fabel- the squares are small enough to take with me if I go out and I can do the odd row or two if I'm waiting for an appointment.

Hi Florenceem, it is a Jean Greenhowe free pattern - I will post a picture if I can work how to do it on this site. Here is a link to Jean's site. http://www.jeangreenhowe.com/patterns.html

Well, picked up another unfinished project this afternoon - a baby blanket requiring stitches picked up and borders knitted. For some reason I made a complete mess of the first side and it has taken me about 4 goes to get an acceptable edge. It didn't help that DH get chatting to me and I kept losing count of the 156 stitches! Not looking forward to the other three borders.

Lovely knitting, love the starsky tea-cosy, and the knitted dolls.

I have a few JG books...may be knitting a few for my lil' sis's first grandchild due in the summer. Can only sell them for charity, so not including them in my crafting business repertoire.

Finished another ruffle scarf his week, and getting on well with my second sock. Will post piccies once I have done.

Have a great weekend everyone xx
