These are my SKA mystery socks finished :). Not great photos as red yarn is hard to photograph, especially in dull light. Hope you get the jist. Lovely pattern, and not too much to take on board at once as it was in 4 individual clues :)

The small pattern you can see on the toe is also on the heel, and the leg/instep have the lovely flowery pattern. Cuff is cute too. The designer is Irishgirlieknits.
If anyone is interested there are more photos/info on the ravelry project page- Red Blathnat.
ETA A much nicer photo of the socks!

    Thanks.
You will understand all the words once you start knitting socks.
I personally prefer to use circulars (well one circular) and knit one or two at a time, normally one. I have knit pro wooden tips and metal tips and both are lovely needles. I have also got cheaper circulars that I use and they are ok to, but less flexible cable. For dpn's I preferred the old cheap metal ones, but bamboo was ok. There are so many needles out there now and the knit pro ones are gorgeous, especially the thicker ones, where you can see all the colours through the wood.

I have used that pattern too, also have some Regia booklets with more complicated patterns (and other heels) and they are nice.
