I'm supposed to be doing magic loop knitting for my sleeves, it was going OK until I changed over the needles now I have two sets of needles, stitches and wool everywhere. Think I've invented my own method of knitting, it's just a complicated mess instead of a sleeve. Ah well! :rotfl:

I did it! YAY :D! I have done the cast on and the first row of stitches so will try and get another row done now before DH gets home for his tea.
So much easier when I knew how to do it :)

    Congratulations!!

Mikazaru That sounds sooo familiar :D

I'm doing some wristwarmers, didn't have dpns in 5.5mm so had to try and learn magic loop.
It was all going great until I tried to do the thumbhole...there's now a pretty design of several rows of plain above the stocking stitch and before the rib. It looks nice and I'm not about to undo it - but now I have to c*ck up the second one exactly the same, with no idea how:rotfl:

Oh no,but at least it's a pretty mistake!

    I have a sleeve :D
Slightly concerned about how its all going to fit together, my sleeve seems a little long and the body too short but still :D

I'm whizzing through DD's waistcoat using my Sirdar Escape Chunky and 6.5mm needles - now on the left front.

Next I want to have a go at doing a hat for myself shock horror! Going to do it in the round but will be sure I see my tutorial from KnitFreedom first as that covers knitting in the round. Got some nice wool to use for it (Debbie Bliss SoHo) I got from someone on Ravelry's stash and can't wait to get going!!

Glad you're feeling better than you were Orkney - remember to rest and don't overdo it now that you are starting to imiprove.

    Cuddles123 what a lovely jumper!

For anyone on Ravelry I've put up a few pictures of things I've done - I'm under Smiler33 and anyone is welcome to add me as a friend :). Forgive the one of the waistcoat I'm doing - I was a numpty and took the picture of it on a pinky blanket so the colours don't stand up so much. The next one will be improved (I hope!)
