Hi Can anyone recommend a good beginner pattern for knitting socks. I have looked on Ravelry and there are so many, I dont know where to start, and talk about things I dont understand.
I have n't knitted with 4 needles before, but will find some tutorials on u tube, prior to starting
many thanks0 -
sunshine01, I learned sock knitting from Silver's tutorial here, and I know a lot of other people on here have too. It's really straightforward and easy to follow and I can't recommend it highly enough. Scroll down the page and you will find a list of available tutorials.Oh dear, here we go again.0

Thank you Jenny Jelly, that is brilliant what a good tutorial.. I will make a start tonight, needles and wool are ready. Many thanks0 -
I agree totally with jennyjelly, I printed it all off and keep it in a ringbinder in plastic sleeves, I am forever referring back to it. Mind you, since it have knitted three pairs in four weeks, I can do most of it all without referring back to the instructions...this really impresses non-knitters!!!!
Been knitting a cushion cover lately, but not sure about it ....will have a proper look at it some time, busy decorating this week, so not much spare time
