    Serial lurker here.

I am loving all the makes and have just started to knit again after many years. First project is a cushion cover with cables.

I love those baby uggs. Could someone please point me in the direction of a pattern for them? I have seen other patterns, but don't like them quite so much ....

    Thank you.

I'm knitting a baby blanket and was wondering the best way of joining a new ball of yarn. I've had a look on the internet and as there are so many different ways of joining yarn I wasn't sure which was best.

    Thanks.

http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/oh-baby-baby-booties is the original pattern. It's on Ravelry, if you're not a member, join! It's free, with lots of free patterns and resources. There is a modified version someone has done, with less ends to darn in. Back in a minute.

    First Boneyard has finished blocking

Had problems with my second one. Knitted when I was tired in poor light and made a mistake. Had to take back about 14 rows after making things worse by trying to fix it . Tried to insert needle into destination row and unravel, but managed not to get it in straight so had to lose another row.
Was nearly demented and almost frogged the whole thing, but managed to salvage it after some tantrums and strong words.:D
