Started on 19th May and finished today 19th Aug, but I was doing other things in between lol!
The Sock Knitters Anonymous Group have a thread on making the matching sock for any orphans and that spurred me to finish them. I love them!

Hi all, hope everyone is as well as they can be.

I need some help *again*

I've just finished my first Cardi *yay* but its a wrap one so I need ties.

I've knitted some I-cord but I have absolutely no idea how to attach it. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Another great pair of socks Orkney - well done on finishing them :-D

Nunnygirl, I would just sew the end of the icord to your cardigan with the same wool or matching thread if it were me. Lots of small stitches for strength.

Bag4life, have I missed a post? Not sure what you're asking for help with?

I've returned to knitting and am finding it very relaxing which is very necessary at the moment because of my home situation.
HOWEVER I think it is exacerbating my shoulder trouble.
I've read that continental style knitting might help but at the age of 70 am finding it very difficult especially purling.
I have tried YouTube but am still struggling- anyone got any words of wisdom, please?

Hi bag4life. I'm sorry I can't help, as I have never done the continental style. I'm sure someone will be along in a minute who knows it inside out but till then I just didn't want you to feel ignored!
Oh dear, here we go again.

Sorry I can't help with continental - just can't get away with it myself.
But have you tried knitting on circular needles? I'm told it helps with wrist, elbow shoulder and neck problems, and I have to agree. If I knit on straights after circulars my shoulders ache.
    Worth a go?

    Hi, and welcome

I'm no more help, I have messed about trying continental, but just couldn't change the habit of over 50 years. I do agree with Cuddles though, I knit everything on circular needles now, even when I'm knitting flat. No weight on your needles to support. Good luck.
