Am loving the bunting ...no ginny... stuff to finish.... bad girl...

I also made a tawashi and was so impressed with myself it was silly:rotfl: but they are so neat, Im guessing everyone will get one off me for xmas with a tag saying what they are!

No problem Ginny - I really do believe in Karma or 'paying it forward'
Someone has (hopefully) offered me a pattern I need, so I'm glad to help you.

I am pairing the Tawashis with knitted dishcloths, so wrote this to explain. Just silly but it does the job!

    Tawashi Poem

I made you a Tawashi, though you may not know the name.
You use it like a scourer, but it isn’t quite the same.
Cos it won’t hurt your fingers, or scratch your precious china,
So hang it with this dishcloth and your kitchen will look finer!

Cuddles what a lovely poem! Can I ask how well the tawashi work? they do look so much prettier than the scourers I knit. Mine are made to match my dishclothes, I use one strand of dishcloth cotton combined with one "strand" of net (a piece of net fabric cut into a continuous strip). I've been thinking of making some for christmas pressies, to go with some tea towels I'm making (navy blue waffle fabric with snowflakes stitched on each end).
