i love my knitpro woodend dpns and use them often.
they arent cheap and i am very careful to not leave them lying around, so they dont get sat on.
i have 2.25, 2.75 and 3mm all for knitting socks. also have 3.5 and 4 mm for knitting with dk. going to buy some more to knit aran wool next, as i have a project in mind

My 2.225, 2.5 and 2.75mm Knitpro circulars arrived today, hope to try knitting two socks on one needle sometime soon :), but weh my 2.75mm was broken in the pack :( (see later post for more on this, if you are interested lol!).

Eeek I just started my first pair of socks, and I think I'm in love. Though this should not be a surprise as I must have about 40 pairs of socks anyway, dpn's are not nearly as bad as I thought they would be.

Yay! Another sock knitter! Well done Starnight, they're brilliant.

Cuddles those boots are beyond cute. (Sneaks off to find the pattern). Little feet things become addictive! So just to tempt you further - http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/oh-baby-baby-booties - which have tip-toed their way on my to do list.
Getting back to size 14 socks is going to be weird!

Nannyjanny I have made lots of those boots, they are so warm and snuggly. I do 4 ply for tiny babies, dk for newborn to 4/5 months and aran for then till they get big feet :rotfl: DGs had them and then the friends all wanted them too. They are very addictive as they grow fast even for me (very very slow knitter).:) I thought if you did a row of eyelets under the cuff you could put ribbon through and tie them on but not tried it yet.

    Loving those boots NJ !

Ginnyknits, do you use the same stitch count but thicker yarn for the bigger sizes?

I've read through the pattern and found it a bit confusing as I'm not a sock knitter. Found the mods done in one piece here

I have been doing little odds and ends to use up scraps

    Morning :D

After visiting a friend I was greatly admiring her knitting bag which came with a matching needle roll however I didn't want to ask her where it came from. It was long and rectangular with handles and had a kind of PVC style finish. I really want one but have not been able to find a similar style online :(.

    Anyone know of similar ones?
