    lol, its on the 14th at the racecourse. Di gilpin is going to be there - her shop is closed in perth now - and she has some lovely stuff. Don't think I can spare the time though this time

    One more pair of socks finished (seem to be doing more than one pair as WIP's these days). I love them, despite the yarn making them non-matching (from one ball of Noro Silk Garden Sock).

    nannyjanny, i too am addicted to knitting socks, so easy to take anywhere, and relaxing too. my sons have big feet too, one is a 15 other is a 16, and still growing:eek:
    does anyone know what age boys stop growing lol, ,my twins were 16 last month

    My youngest is now 18, and is still growing I'm afraid! :eek: He has size 13 feet and is a rugby prop (surprise, surprise!!).

    I still get lots of lovely hugs from him though :):)

    Lovely socks OrkneyStar...again!! I have a pair of sock on the go for DH...was on the second, but lost the first on a trip to hospital!! All the ladies waiting wanted to have a look...and I musn't have put it into my bag properly. Went back the next day, but no sign of it :(. I have plenty of wool (got a cone of it :D), but I have gone off it for a bit.

    In the meantime I've been knitting a lovely scarf for a friend...will post piccies when I'm done. It's lacy and wavy and really easy..seafoam or easy-drop pattern. I think you knitted one didn't you Orkney? Anyway, I need to finish this one (been side-tracked by cross-stitch and gardening! :o), as I want to knit another for a friend's 50th in 2 weeks time.

    Right, off to water some thirsty plants before watching Christopher Eccleston on the tv @ 9...and getting the knitting out! :D:D

    I did knit the drop stitch scarf, I think seafoam is the same thing/similar- was for my mum's mothers day gift and she loved it.
    I have started another pair of top down socks tonight, and also a couple of days ago completed the first of Mojo (toe up and afterthought heel!).

    PICTURE DELETED- didn't like the way they were turning out and the pattern is very badly written in some parts!
    Started these last night and knitted until after 4 in the morning watching election results!
    Woke at 7.45am so a bit tired now!

    Yeah, although shame my candidate didn't get in :(.

    I think Orkney and Shetland were about the only places where the best candidates didnt get in ! LOL or is that open political bias ? :)
