Those are lovely Orkney. Hopefully you won't need them for the summer though!

Ok, here are a couple of pics as promised.

    First some zig-zaggy scarves:

A little shawl that's lovely to put round your shoulders for reading in bed (this is one I made for my mum, but I'm going to make another for me before the winter):

    Some of my socks:

    And finally the stash.

In the wooden box in the living room:

    IMG_0271_medium2.JPG

And the wicker basket in the living room:

In the chest of drawers in the bedroom:

In the drawers under the bed:

    IMG_0274_medium2.JPG

and lots of bags like this stuffed behind things all over the house:

(tapestry wool is great for felting btw)

Even the poor cat can't escape!

And yes, I am well and truly ashamed of myself!

ETA I'm trying to get myself a bit more organised on Ravelry so will be adding pics as I go along - I'm DirtyGertie on there so feel free to have a look.
Oh dear, here we go again.

(So I now have a pair of Noro's (1 done and 1 rib done) and a jumper and vest on the back burner!)).
Cannot remember if I put a pic of my cowl (that was gonna be a scarf!) on so here it is anyway!

Dizzylizzie; the mug holders are very pretty, did you design them yourself?

Can anyone point me towards a pattern for a simple men's jumper? I can knit, but I've never tried a big project before, and all of the patterns I've found include directions I don't understand, or detailing I don't want to add.

jennyjelly - Beautiful zig zaggy scarves! And impressive stash...

dizzy lizzie - Pretty mug hugs, I especially love the rose one but they're all cute!
