I have 3 projects on the go at the moment, a shrug in Rowan Damask, I bought the wool from a charity shop 2 years ago, I've knitted the back & started one side. I can only knit this when my eyes decide to focus properly & the light levels are high as there is a lot of counting involved. For taking out & about I have some dishcloths I'm knitting as these are small & portable & for when I sat at home I'm knitting a bathmat out of old tea shirts.

oh hester i would love to see that, anything that doesnt involve buying wool is a definite look into for me. plus can i be really cheeky hester and ask if you could take a look at the problem i am having trying to add a sleeve to a waistcoat that i have made for my mum, thanks

Cuddles that's lovely, I love that you've used knitting needles as part of the bag, what a brilliant idea! Great choice of colours too. Is it moss stitch?

Orkney, lovely socks (as usual!) loving the cables. Don't you wish you could afford to knit with Noro all the time? I do, it's beautiful stuff.
Oh dear, here we go again.

    Think it's called Blackberry Stitch?
Involves P3tog which is not easy if you're a tight knitter like me!

Oh, and I made the needles out of dowel and a couple of beads. Very MSE as I had them in the house :money:

Mmm, maybe I'll give it a go, I'm quite a loose knitter and it does look lovely.

    Very frugal - I'm impressed!
