    Very frugal - I'm impressed!

I went to the CBS very early on Saturday and there was a lady selling off her stash. Most of it wasn't to my taste BUT I did get 9 balls of Regia, 3 balls of Katia and a ball of Online for *squeaks with excitement* £6 !!!

Very good but what is CBS? Craft stall?

I don't usually get that lucky, but I was there at 7.30 and the lady had just set up. Couldn't believe my luck but that's probably the last time it will ever happen! Still, I have enough to keep me in socks for a fair while now, especially if I do a bit of mixing and matching stripes with the leftover bits I already have.
Oh dear, here we go again.

The Regia alone costs about £6 so wonder how much you`ve saved? How brave is that lady to sell her `stash`. I daren`t admit to how much I have! When I die, they will find all the wool and I will deserve to be remembered as a batty woman!

Confession time! At the same CBS I also bought a wicker laundry basket and several other bags and boxes in an attempt to contain the monster. It's taking over the house. I've filled all the spare drawers and cupboards. ATM there is a big pile on the floor in the corner of my living room which has nowhere to live - hence the need for more things to contain it. Though where I'm going to find the space to put them I don't know!

I think my family will probably cremate it all with me when I go!

My stash rule is that I must start using some yarn before I buy more, and also never have more than I can knit before I die (assuming, of course, live an average 3 score years and ten!).
Great finding the Regia though JennyJelly- but I WANT to see the socks (or other objects you make) or I will come to your house and steal it all to make the ever growing list of projects I have selected from Ravelry!!!!! xx

Just finished these (always have cold hands even if a warm body) as a wee necessity in between sock knitting!

Only used about 10g of wool, they are kind of opposites, one with orange cuff, one with orange tip/thumb!
