    Hi Folks,
I see lots of good knitting going on :).
Well I have finally finished my cable cardi, using fake cable and Lidl tremori....it is a bit shorter than pattern but I expected that and it will be a great shoulder warmer. It is all finished but just getting a wee wash just now.
    Here it is:

I am now going back to doing my red scarf- I love the colour and looking forward to getting on with it!

This is not the wool Lidl have in just now, but from a while ago, sorry if I confused you.

I think some of the wool they have just now would be ok for children's things, although it is all pretty much 100% acrylic.

I am here to confess, that, just as I was telling myself -no more knitting yarn until I've used some up, because my big, big Ikea box stash is rammed full - I saw loads of beautiful, chunky yarn being priced up in a charity shop.
I admit it - I fell off the wagon and bought (for £6! :D) 14 x 100g balls of Patons Pablo Extra Chunky in a gorgeous mix of blue and sea greens. It is very very thick and needs 7.50mm needles and I don't think it's available any more. It is 45% wool and is so warm to the touch - think I may knit my son and his girlfriend a huge throw blanket - better check they like the colour then, before I start!

    How lucky are you!!!

Wish I could find a bargain like that, I wouldn't have to fall off the stash wagon, I'd leap headlong!

Hi Berrybug, if you go onto their website you can sign up to be sent the e-mails which tell you in advance what their special offers are. You just choose which particular store you wish to be notified of. Aldi do the same. Hope this helps.
