Did you buy it as a batch? Was the ebay seller good? If so, can you pm me their ebay ID? I often look on ebay but never seem to find much.
Just seen this - there is one seller I use a lot on Ebay. Her pricing is very fair and her service is excellent - 55aileen.
I just bought some of this from her - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120557568858&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I did a bit of browsing in the shops at lunchtime and one was selling aran style cardigans, nothing too fancy just cable patterns on the fronts and backs and moss stitch everywhere else and in the background for £65  they were an acrylic/nylon blend as well, not even any real wool in there. I was pretty horrified. I could knit something like that for less money and use real wool...obviously it'd take a while to do the knitting but even then I still couldn't believe the price for man made fibres.
I was equally shocked before Christmas when fair isle style scarves were on sale at M&S and they were charging £35 again entirely acrylic, no wool in there at all.
I'm not knocking acrylic, I just think for those prices I want a wool blend
I'm still working on my purple socks and on a green cardigan but don't have any progress pictures.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member #398 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T

Totally agree about the acrylic - got nothing against it either, but when I look at some of the hats and scarves in Accessorize- like these handwarmers which are 100% acrylic and £12 - I sort of feel that they are not that expensive, but too expensive for not being real wool or even wool mix - if you get my drift.
Love the look of lots of their cold weather stuff though!0 -
I'm wondering if someone can help me.
I am following Silver's tutorial and have come to the point where I have to start the heel.
It says:-
On your next needle, (working yarn coming from last stictch of last need), you need 24 stitches. This is needle 1.
* Keep the working yarn before the first stitch on needle 1.
On your other two needles, you need 12 stitches.
I'm reading that as the last stitch knitted becomes stitch 1 of the 24 and so it will in effect be knitted twice before knitting the next stitch.
Have I read that correctly?Did owe £9,951.96

You can start with an edging in rib or moss stitch or garter stitch - that will avoid the curling-up problem.
Thanks.
It was all done in garter, but I read on line that this happens when you knit in the round.
Anyway, I started again and have done a small rib border (K2 P2) which looks nice.0 -

She is the one seller I go back to time and time again. In fact, I mayhave just indulged in some more. It would be rude not to! I've just sold a load of stuff on ebay and the money sitting in my paypal which should be used for other things is calling to me!
If you sign up for her newsletter email, she doesn't bombard you, you just get the odd email with sale stuff or special offers.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0
