Morning ladies
I have bought a lovely pure wool jumper from the charity shop to felt and have washed it twice at 60 degrees but it doesnt look as if it has felted enough. (bet it would have if I hadn't been trying:rotfl:)
So how many times do you need to wash things before they get stiffer? (clean responses only please!:o)
Thanks
Try putting an old pair of jeans in with it, the agitation helps with the felting! What are you going to make it into?0 -

Don't worry about the enhanced interface. I think if you can see the globe, then you've already got it!
So, first you highlight the word you are going to turn into a linky. Then If you click on that little globe pic, a box pops up. It has http:// already in it. So all you need to do is delete that and paste in your own URL (web page address). Press OK and that's it, you're done!
Good luck, hope this helps!
Hiya there are 2 boxes tho` not one and how to do the link...like a different colour in the space? Thanks for responding so quickly.0 -

The Fortissima Mexiko sock wools come in lots of colours- so even if you cannot get this one you should find one you like (am not sure if the one I used is still being produced/sold- although I did only get it a couple of months ago).
I think the pic is a fairly good representation of the colours.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

I think what might have happened is that you hadn't selected a word before you click on the globe. All you need to do is double click on a word to select it, then you click on the globe button. When you click on the little globe icon does a new small box open that says "Please enter the URL of your link"? That is where you put the web address.Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!

Love the piccies of the socks and jumper. Haven't picked up my socks in a while cos I'm afraid of making a mistake - am a bit wrecked and that's when my concentration is worst. But when I see other people's lovely stuff I want to get at it again ... so thank you for the inspiration.Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!

Hi Sharon - I have been searching for wool with sequins within it and can't find any anywhere! Any chance that you could let me know the maker so I can try to go direct. Also knowing the colours would be good. Would appreciate your help, thanks.
