It's a jumper I'm doing. Its the first time I've used circular needles so don't really know what I'm doing lol!

As it's the first time you've used circulars, I think it's probably best to stick to "standard" usage and avoid anything extra to complicate things, like the Magic Loop technique. So you'll need the right length. There are lots of very good on-line knitting stores which sell circulars, and you should be able to pick up what you need for a couple of pounds. The added bonus is that they'll probably be a better brand, and nicer to knit with, than the ones stocked in most high-street shops.

Does anyone know where I could find a pattern of a bus - got a nephew who is mad about them and would like to put on on the winter hats and scarfs I knit for him, so size doesn't matter I can adjust it

    Thanks

    Debbie

There's a useful free chart generator here:

    http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro.htm

    KNITPRO
knitPro is a free web application that translates digital images into knit, crochet, needlepoint and cross-stitch patterns. Simply upload jpeg, gif or png images and knitPro will generate a graph sizable for any fiber project. knitPro digitally mimics the tradition of pre-industrial craft circles who freely shared patterns and passed them down from generation to generation.

Once you find a picture you like just click on the knitting tab and follow the directions - it is really easy to use.
