Well if you see any, will you send me a message and let me know? I'm very rarely in Lidl, so I probably wouldn't see if it someone didn't tell me it was there. Thanks :-)0 -

Hi, I went out yesterday to buy my circular needles but could only find 80cm ones and my pattern asks for 40cm. Will this make a difference? Will I still be able to use them or am I better off trying to find some 40cm ones?Proud wife to a soldier and mummy to two gorgeous boysDealing with our Debt Barclaycard £2022.98 RBS £1249.86 Next £183.03September Groceries £120/£102.05:( September Packed Lunches 22/6Sealed Pot Challenge #9940

What is it you are knitting? If it is something circular/ in the round, the circumference of the piece must be larger than the length of the needle, so yes it will matter.
If you are using magic loop technique, a shawl or using it to pick up stitches, then extra length is a benefit in my opinion.
I can highly recommend knit pro needles - you get a number of tips, then a number of cords in a set - so you can mix and match. To start with I just got the tips and cords seperatly and added to it each time i needed something else. Now I can do most combinations and use them all the time, even for straight knitting. There are a number of sellers in the UK. The tips come in metal, wood or acrylic and are all interchangeable.0 -
