  • I haven't knitted in years but was given sock yarn/pattern/dpn's for Christmas and am hooked again:D I'm already planning on doing another pair but looking online for yarn it doesn't seem very MSE:eek: Is there anywhere I could get sub£5 yarn or is that impossible?

    Many thanks

Hi shelley - do you send items out to hospitals across the UK, or is it just local to you? I'm going to post your link on a couple of other forums if that's ok with you?
  • shelley have you thought about posting on Freecycle or contacting local WI groups? They may be willing/glad tohelp. Or even local knitting groups?

I need to buy the yarn and needles first but will try to do something. I have also emailed my mother as she is a super speedy knitter and am sure she would love to help.
