i cannot find it in the uk, in pattern its in dollars 3.49 a 70g ball. think you are right about the type of wool i need just need to find something similar now
Hobbicraft have Just Soya on offer at half price (£1.49) per 50g.:T The colours are lovely and it is so soft.
You can buy it online if you don't have a store near you.

i have just come across 10 x 50g balls of cheap dk wool in black and dont know what to do with it. i am already over run with scarfs and being black limits me a bit, any ideas???

Potentially dumb question- I know nothing about knitting!
My 82 year old Nan wants to start knitting again and has asked me to get some wool for her. I've looked everywhere for wool but they no longer seem to measure the wool in ply? I have instructions for 4 ply wool. What is this in modern wool measurements?? Would really appreciate the help!Some people feel the rain...others just get wet0 -
Hi Gibboelli, they do still measure yarn in Ply.
Depending upon where you are looking though, you might only find DK.
A wool shop should have 4 ply or try E-bay.
