Just rang them and they said as it's a pot luck they can't guarantee that I will get 2 packs the same colour but she said that in the warehouse they are usually sent batches of the same colour and that if I put on the order form that I need 2 packs of the same colour for my pattern I may get them but they can't guarantee it. Just went to order them and it is coming up as out of stock at the moment.
Did anyone notice if there was somewhere you could type text in when they put their order in?
Just had a look and filled in order form - no, can't see anywhere you can put text. Can you order over the phone?
I did read on an earlier post that it was now out of stock but they were expecting to get more in.0 -
I did see a few days ago that it was out of stock, thought I would try and see if was back in yet but obviously not.
I don't know whether the offer is only online and also the bonus of ordering online is that I would get the 10% off which would be nearly £3.00. I think I will have to try and ring them again tomorrow and see if I could order over the phone and then wait until the wool is back in stock again.Did owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

Can anyone help please?
I've bought 2 balls of this wool off ebay but have no patterns that is suitable for that

I'm not experienced enough to make up a pattern so any ideas will be gratefully appreciated. It is quite coarse so am guessing not all patterns will be suitable.0 -

If the worst comes to the worst and you get two different colours, post on here as someone may be willing to swap. I've ordered two lots myself and would be happy to consider swapping if it helps. I really don't mind what colours I have and I'm sure others on here would be willing to help too.0 -
Thanks a lot Unity, that's really good of you to post your reply.
I did feel the Peru in the shop and it did feel nice, just can't justify spending about £30 for it right at this moment in time - lol

Aye, gone are the days when knitting was done to save money. I remember an aunt of mine, sitting knitting socks for her DH in ghastly storm coloured grey wool. It would drive me mental - tho most would say I'm most of the way there :rotfl:.
I've just completed the 'Tower Cardigan' from Rowan's 'Miss Bea's Rainy Day' book which came free with one of the knitting mags. It's in a lovely deep rose pink cotton from Kemps - thank goodness for colour :T.Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

Thank you Catwoman, that is really nice of you. I will try and order some when it eventually comes in stock and see what I get. I will try and see if I can send them a message asking for the 2 packs to be the same colour if I can and see if that works, if not I shall be putting my request for a swap on here.Did owe £9,951.96

Don't know about you, but I'm hoping that in 4 weeks, I'll be knitting something a lot thinner than chunkyThat means that wool will be sitting around for months before I use it.
I placed another order on the phone for another job lot, but haven't received an order confirmation, so don't know if that one is coming eitherYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0
