hi bikerchick, could you tell me how long delivery took from readicut please? cheers ;)

I phoned them yesterday to add something to my order, and she said the Moonglow is out of stock. It will be coming in, but she didn't give me a date

I've just bought this http://www.readicut.co.uk/Patons-Moonglow-Chunky-1000g-Pot-Luck-Pack-PRC7667/ which I thought was well bargainacious!

Its 20 balls of patons moonglow (RRP £3.59) for £8.80 and also 10% off your first order! P&P is £3.95.

Anyone who has ordered this and received it, what kind of patterns did you get. The only thing putting me off this is if they send me patterns I don't like and then have to try and find a pattern that I like that I can knit with this wool.
    Did owe £9,951.96

Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

Go onto http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/kategori_oversikt.php and type in 13 stitches in the tension box, there are lots of free patterns.

I've been looking on the readicut website and found this pattern which I quite like which is done in a chunky wool. Is there any way I can find out whether the Patons Moonglow wool will do the job as I can't find any tension details, even if I google the pattern.

Lynseydee - the site does have a special offer on the wool used for that pattern. (10 ball pack)

The Surfers tension is 17 stitches to 10 cm on 7mm needles.
The Moonglow tension is 13 stitches 10 cm on 6.5mm needles.

Hi Deserate Housewife, it took about ten days for delivery I think. You have to have your first order with them delivered to your home address, I was lucky my neighbour took it in for me, but subsequent orders can be delivered to work, etc.

Lynseydee, I got patterns for two jumpers and one cardigan, all of which I liked, they're pretty modern patterns, so I'm sure you'll get something you like.

I am a very slow knitter, I love looking at patterns and thinking about knitting but don't get much done. However last year I found a link on the MSE site for a pattern for a Peter Rabbit baby toy. I downloaded the pattern and now I have nearly finished it! But I seem to remember that the rabbit had a bow tie, braces and belt and my pattern hasn't got this information on. Anybody remember this pattern and do you know the web address to get the pattern again. I have tried to find the pattern by searching free knitting pattern sites but it takes ages and I have'nt found it yet. Hope someone can help because the toy is going on our Church Stall (next Christmas!!!) if I get it finished. Thanks
