Hi, this is my first post on this thread - I'm so glad a friend pointed it out.
Luckily I live close enough to walk to this shop :T, it really is an Aladdin's cave. Watch out for some even greater bargains in the very near future - nudge, nuge, wink, wink. I bought some Patons Inca there yesterday for 69p a ball, so DH will be getting a new sweater.
Does anyone else use the Denise Knitting system from America?
Hi Unity, I too bought some inca for OH and in the process of knitting a jumper using the Eizabeth Zimmermann percentage system so I didn't need a pattern. I started it last Sunday and have knit body and sleeves up to the armhole and now decreasing for the neck.
I have a set of Denise needles and use them a lot, they are cheaper than the addi turbo ones and I like them, I have just treated myself to an extra long cable and size 7mm needles for the set from kangaroo as they stock them and this size isn't in the original set.Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000
Save £12k in 2013 no.34 £11,800/£12,000
'How much can you save' thread = £7,050
Total=£29,100
Mfi3 no. 88: Balance Jan '06 = £63,000. :mad:

Snap - I also ordered the 7mm size plus the two new larger sizes that came out recently. One of the ends on my 20" cable snapped - so I contacted the people at Denise and they're sending out a new one, so I ordered my additional needles at the same time. I hope they arrive soon. I'm knitting DH's sweater from the Inca pattern book - just following the conventional pattern as it is also knitted in size 7mm.
This site also stocks Denise needles - but I haven't checked for prices - just thought it might help if you need anything in the future: www.woollyworkshop.co.uk

Well I just finished my pink/gold fun fur waistcoat. The husband says I look like a wee pink glittery polar bear in it. I think I look more like a pink orang utang. I DEF need to stick to the diet ....:(0
