    They're really nice thanks
The witches and wizards are a bit too tall for what I had in mind and I not that a proficient knitter to know how to make the pattern smaller,

Hi Sandy, doesn't Jean Greenhowe do some little gnomes or the 7 dwarves, could you adapt the colours to make one of those into wizard or a witch.
(I may well have dreamt this and I have lent my books out and not got them back :( )

Thanks for that but can't see any, the problem is as I live in spain we don't have Jean's books here and getting them sent over from England is really expensive esp when I only need a few patterns

I saw a small knitted witch, ghost, pumpkin cat and cauldron on ebay and thought I could probably manage to knit them myself. Having searched the web I think they are probably made from a Jean Greenhowe pattern. But as I live in Spain I can't get them out here. has anyone knitted something similar and could you give me an idea of how to start or even (dare I say it) email the knitting details. Thanx
Not a Jean Greenhowe pattern but I like this pumkin

  • They are very cute :D
  • I have scoured the house and have come across various Jean Greenhowe knitting projects all near completion - primarily a Santa and a Sally from the Scarecrow family, plus a twin. Dowloaded patterns from her site on Friday and doing ghosts as Halloween pressies. I do like the egg ones for Easter. Have just gone on to Knitwell to order toy stuffing as I have a feeling I gave it away with my great wool give away last October and totally can't find it..

Here is a link for free toy patterns http://jeangreenhowe.com

  • Hi, just wondering if anyone out there can help.
Every year I knit my dgs a jumper for xmas, and he has asked me to do a lego one this year, and I can't find a pattern any where.
I've tried local wool shop, ebay, google etc. really don't know where else to look and I don't want to let him down!
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
