Come on share what is a " loopy dishcloth " stitch?

Sorry, I've only just seen this.

You knit normal garter (plain) stitch, but take the yarn around both needles before taking it over the bottom needle as you normally would.
You can knit entirely like that, but I usually knit some plain rows too- maybe every third row or something. You can add a row or 2 of it into scarves etc as well- looks lacy and makes it grow quicker :D

:D Please god it isnt all in Danish ! I once had a norwegian penpal send me knitting patterns--that was hilarious:rotfl: To begin with, the norwegian for pattern is "monster" . My son was round-eyed and scared stiff at this brown packet with foreign stamps and MONSTER written all over it :D

  • Well I've just finished knitting Mrs Claus, and have just got the making up, bib and ice cream to do on the polar bear - and then my next project is cinderella for my niece's Christmas present. Wish me luck :D
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)
