Used Home Textiles / Parcelking Delivery (WARNING)

A lot of seller's on Ebay use DHL, every major courier company offer's a different price breakdown based on deliveries per month. People are quoting around £3-£4 plus VAT using DHL for businesses doing around 30 parcels month.
DHL charge VAT
Parcelforce don't charge VAT nor the Royalmail as they are exempt.
Amazon do around 150,000 deliveries with Parcelforce and pay just £1.50 VAT Exempt.
Unfortunately, DHL, parcel force, etc. usually offer a rate for individuals, large sellers and resellers. Most of the companies reselling parcel deliveries on Ebay, I assume use the large sellers rate (to get the cheapest prices) and this is not allowed as they should be using the reseller rate (which is more expensive).0 -
*WARNING*
Do not use home-textiles (eBay name) AKA parceltree.co.uk AKA parcelgiant.co.uk AKA Shafi Salar / Shalar Enterprises Ltd AKA Wajahat Shafi AKA Wshafi AKA Shafi Shalar AKA Shafi Salar
I had used many times and I was very happy with the service. Had a couple of problems which were rectified within a reasonable amount of time.
Then the service went completely downhill. Sending emails, then hearing nothing, failed collections (due to DHL not bothering to even call to collect) so emailing to rearrange, hearing nothing from this company and collection not booked in again - result customer stayed in 3 consecutive days, - I lost over £150 of business as they cancelled their order in frustration.
Over £100 worth of items damaged, put a claim in, sent dozens of emails about it and made half a dozen phone calls - end result hours wasted - stretched out over several months - this company does not give a damn. Gave them chance after chance to rectify, promise after promise made by them (and broken time and time again).
I should have heeded the comments on this forum about fake GHDs and other goods being sold by these people - and their slagging off of previous customers on this very same forum. Not even a professional outfit only reply to emails in the evening probably all working day jobs not serious about business. Tell me they only make 50 pence per parcel (like that is anything to do with me).
End result over £100 worth of items damaged and no compensation. Blame DHL every time. Treated me atrociously despite putting lots of business their way over the past few months.
AVOID!!!! Like the PLAGUE.0 -
I did warn you back in July!
If preform a Whois on his domains you get his address, as we complained to Nominet that he's claiming he is a 'UK Individual' although running a business from those sites & got his address details revealed.
He also has another 5 domains registered in his name
Also Companies House records: http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/8c0acbacf50dd71c1fafd06b19fb4728/compdetails
You can file a claim through Moneyclaim; http://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/0 -
Although when we used them he never majorly let us down, I always feared a major problem was just around the corner.
Looking back now the amount of failed collections we had with him was massively higher than ppw.0 -
Yep TKPeters you did warn.. I can only say that as someone else has expressed on this forum this guy is quite the charmer indeed I would be extremely angry because of the way I'd been treated but after a phone call I would be quite placated.
I've since been using PayPerParcel and the service has been great. In fact the DHL guy calls at 08:30am now, so no hanging about waiting in all day.. superb!
Also when DHL had problems with their booking in servers or something.. PayPerParcel were spot on in sending an email out to explain why parcels hadn't been collected that day..
Hopefully the service won't go completely down the pan like the other outfits I've used..
As for MoneyClaim with ParcelTree, I really don't know how to go about it. I was posting on another forum since the registered address of ParcelTree is in Scotland, I didn't know whether that had any bearing on taking legal action? I'm not 100% sure how to go about it.0 -
have a look on the site

stupid.? no... there have been at least 3 resellers on ebay that was £3.99, £4.99.. etc all running at a loss NO! they run up bills to the courier company ie DHL.. PARCEL FORCE and kept the buyers money , £60,000 was reported loss from one reseller..
who pleaded health.. childcare problems when DHL finally shut them down..imagine how many £5.99sss you will get if your not paying the courier:beer:
I have the ebayers names if anyone wants them.. but this is reason why resellers rates are now £9 a parcel..
ABSOLUTELY CORRECT I TOO SEE EVIDENCE OF THIS EVERY SINGLE DAY MY COMPANY WAS RIPPED OFF TO THE TUNE OF £400K IN JUST A MONTH FROM THIS VERY TYPE OF ACTIVITY, AS YOU STATE THE RESELLER IS THE ONLY WINNER THEY HAVE THE PAYPAL PAYMENT BANKED AND SEWN UP JUST THE POOR SODS WHO CARRY THE TRAFFIC THAT LOSE AND JOB CUTS RESULT AS PROFITS FALL, ALL THAT GLISTENS ISN'T GOLD AND WHEN ARE PEOPLE GOING TO WAKE UP TO THIS?:T0 -
