luckily they delivered mine back to me and the depot is only 12 miles away anyway so i would have gone there if they would not send them back , if your's is close i would go to them with your recepts from the driver and proof of your address like driving licence and demand them back as they are your property.

I just told them a friend had booked them through there work, hometextiles TNT account name is "phoneclub"

I would goto our local TNT depot, but they won't tell us where the parcels are being held

Do you think consumer direct/trading standards will be able to help?

Sounds like they are using "security issues" as an excuse to hold the parcels dosent it

I would ring consumer direct they might be able to advise further
  • I can't believe TNT are holding my parcels, that's not on.
they holding us to ransom for us to do the job for them hassling home textile.
i got refund from textile but can they be responsible for my lost?
i thought TNT are responsible once they collected the parcels.

According to Consumer Direct / Trading Standards; Home-Textiles are the ones we paid so they're responsible for the parcels being delivered & whom we should be chasing to have the issues resolved even though TNT are the ones holding the parcels.

Found one of our Parcels, in Swansea (330 miles from us) which is being sent to an important customer of ours & TNT Swansea state that non-payment would not result in the parcels being held & remaining undelivered.

They mentioned the 'Security Issues' relating to the account / account holder & this process may take upto a week.

  • I live in Glasgow i may pop in for just friendly chat and hear his version of the story

    eBay Thread (Now Pulled)

I've just had from Home-Textiles; (Spelling Corrected)
First of all, the parcels will be delivered with this week as my business partner who holds the account has struck the deal and will be finalize hopefully today by TNT.

Also, I can easily put on your details on forums where you have put my details, but the difference is that I am also a human except being a ebayer, you are just getting worried for nothing there is a invoice issue between TNT and my Business Partner who holds the account.

97 % OF THE PARCELS ARE DELIVERED, only 87 Parcels are now held , which will be delivered by or even Before of end of this week , which you can confirm.

Secondly Annette Smith is not the manger, the manager is BRUCE for TNT , so this is for Your extra Knowledge so you can Go and Chat a bit more about me .

Thanks at least I am giving some meaning to your Life and you have got extra HOBBY NOW because of me, so you can write all the bad stuff about me, But I promise I will still be nice to you, and after getting your Parcels delivered I will say SORRY FOR ALL THE HASSLE , AND EVEN COMPENSATE YOU, I HOPE YOU STAND WITH ME IN THIS PROBLEM AND JUST GIVE ME SOME MORE TIME AND THINGS WILL BE SORTED.

ANYWAYS , TAKE CARE, AND SORRY ,
    SHAFZ

    seems a little touchy.
unfortunatly they offer a serrvice and for it all to grind to a halt like that they need to expect some hassle from customers.
i real terms it easy money for courior resellers as they do little bar some organisation

he is also parcel king too and had numerous adverts and resellers on ebay who have been told the same.. stalling i think, and i cannot believe its only 87 parcels either.
Most good resellers offer more than organisation skills though.
You would be surprised at how much time it does take, my sister is one.
