  • I am prepared to give them another chance as they were ok when I last used them, I had no complaints at all, however, I will let them settle back in for a bit longer before I do use them and just monitor their feedback as I am a newish business and couldn't afford to have things go wrong at this stage of the game. I do hope they are past the worst of it now and this guy Shafi does seem determined to continue trading and to clear his name. Good luck to them but woe betide if they mess up again cos am sure everyone will jump on them far more 2nd time time round.
  • Hi, I would like to know why parcels are not insured for damage only loss?
This is not good service home textiles..
I see you say you are selling loads but that's only because its cheap.. I personally wonder how many read description or just don't care if there parcel gets damage!
I too do not see how you can charge so little.. 3rd party through DHL is a lot more than £5.99 unless you are not declaring this to them.

I have used most of them on ebay and believe me "you are rude" to leave negatives when your company was in the wrong is the reason why Ebay are changing there rules,
sellers like you do nothing for the Ebay community.
You may not like what TK PETERS states but this is not lying.. they are merely pointing out the differences between courier resellers.. good points bad points.. you should take note, not threaten and harass.
I know that couriers direct have there "good" days and "bad" days.. as i have experienced both..

Also with any parcel collection you may get positive but then a negative/ neutral, its based on one transaction not the whole years worth.. just because you was good with some does not mean you will not be criticized for failed ones.. its the way it works.

I hope you do continue to listen and learn and provide a good service as after May your feedback will be shot to bits and no way of you returning it..
I don't actually see you there then..
Insuring for loss only is sooo bad i think

I have some sympathy for Mr. Home-Textiles.
Just one thing. Mr TKPeters, I dont mean to have a dig but I hate when you assume that Mr Home-Textiles is running at a loss. Maybe he has a better deal. I don't know for sure to be honest, but I DO KNOW...he is £1 cheaper (so Im not complaining) and I also highly doubt he is stupid enough to be running at a loss.
stupid.? no... there have been at least 3 resellers on ebay that was £3.99, £4.99.. etc all running at a loss NO! they run up bills to the courier company ie DHL.. PARCEL FORCE and kept the buyers money , £60,000 was reported loss from one reseller..
who pleaded health.. childcare problems when DHL finally shut them down..imagine how many £5.99sss you will get if your not paying the courier:beer:
I have the ebayers names if anyone wants them.. but this is reason why resellers rates are now £9 a parcel.
    .
  • so deal5-direct is selling the service for £5.50 then i should assume he's going to do a runner after a hefty bill:rolleyes:

there's lot of fraud out there, people post items already damaged just to claim for it,i suppose home-textiles is right not to offer insurance for damaged goods.

if people don't agree with his term&conditions then they should go to royal mail:rotfl:

No, as I've previously mentioned, our DHL contract charges £3.64 for DHL48 which is a lot cheaper than DHL@Home service which HT is using

Im not Deal5-Direct & they're updating their system inline with DHL's, so the bookings can be taken in real time with a 1pm cut off for same day collections.

mr home textiles is a fraudster. he may impress some people with his delivery service, but he has sold ghd's, clothing and other items that were fake. i have several emails from users who have been conned, not got their money back, and have received abusice emails from him.

so if you want to give some sympathy to anyone, try those who have lost hundreds of pounds!

still use his service by all means, but personally i wouldn't use anyone who did this to people.

    that's my thoughts!

Since his eBay account was closed it looks like he's been having problems & maybe doing another runner with the courier co's money as he did with TNT.

    His other site is https://www.parcelgiant.co.uk
