Well done J, just the start you needed :) I am starving all the time. I need food, LOL, this dieting lark only makes me hungry. I am on a rather dismal 18 points a day!!

Well done - you must be really pleased. It makes such a difference to how you feel and if you think you can carry on. Our leader says 'do you think you can do another week' and I always think that's great - I can always do another week ... it's the next year that I'll have to do it that I find difficult!

Anyway - well done you. Keep it up!! Sounds really hopeful about the agreement being sorted soon too. It will happen ... one day soon.

That is one fantastic weight loss, mot.
    Well done you!
Think I should have sabotaged your first weigh-in by sending the Clonakilty BP and Tayto's to you, rather than ali and jillie(who can bring back her own on her 1p flight:D )
    Letter done, as discussed.
    Good risotto?
...and yes, fingers are very, VERY crossed for that letter to arrive.
    It WILL happen.

    Morning everyone,

Going to brave the gym today for the first time for nearly 2 years:eek: Got it in mind to use the treadmill for a while then maybe do some weights then a swim, sauna and jacuzzi to round off!!

Hope you all have a good day :A

    Hi Ali,

Gym was good, didn't do much just 20 mins on the threadmill to get myself back into things, then 24 lengths of the pool - then steam room (lovely!) and jacuzzi (very relaxing!!). The treadmill was ok but hip started to play up a bit, felt that I could have done another 10mins or so but as I'd forgotten my earphones, and could only watch the tv not listen to it, I got a bit bored :o I-T kept having to tell me how much the property prices were on the programme we were watching!!

There were 2 women in the changing room talking to another older lady whose granddaughter is due to give birth today, the other 2 asked her where she was having the baby to which she replied The Portland (really expensive private maternity hospital in London!!) and one of the other women said that her 4 grandchildren were born there:eek: I must add that this wasn't the local council gym and pool :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: .

Twins got school disco tonight and F staying at her friends, have had to take A for his haircut cos he wants to ask a girl out tonight;) !

Got I-T's Dad and sister coming for a homemade Weightwatchers curry and homemade WW chocolate icecream tomorrow night. As for Mothers Day - well, at the moment it is all a well kept secret (if anything!!):shhh:

    Hi J,

Just a little nag really - careful if using a treadmill if you have a dodgy hip. I have one too and I used the treadmill and by the end of the day I could not walk and was off my feet in agony for about a week. Be careful or check it out with your doc, OK as it might not hurt right away but will come on later on. They have suggested I use the bike for cardio, I can't do much else as even the slightest jog means I end up in agony for a good few days. Swimming is good though and once the kids are shipped off to school I intend to start going.

Just nagging. Have a good weekend. :)

Thanks Wol2 :D and BM I have something called Bursitis in my hip which came on after the car accident and hopefully this steroid injection a week on Tuesday will alleviate the pain it causes - but thanks for words of advice which I will take note of!!
