I'm just in, rather late - and find the Not Wanted post.
So, we gird loins for an Appeal - I've done this twice, no - suddenly remember it was THREE times - and won. Any use, despite passage of years?
But we need BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG:easter_ba:EasterBun :easter_ba ,otherwise known as Major dose of leciTHIN:rotfl:(the perfect contradiction in terms)to reverse this one.
Might be saying Sod WW in the virtual world till we rearrange matters.
I would say Silvercar is exactly right: the taint of that cottage address has trailed you.
But this is just another step in line with all that has befallen you ALL over the last three years. Note the words with the bouquets, J. They are there to be leaned on and lived with.
This is not the final decision.
We'll all talk soon, but shan't bother you tonight.
Oh dear - some more bits for the family bookbox from Open Door today:o.
Am very pleased that a copy of The Secret Life of Bees has, AT SO LONG LAST, turned up for F, and for A, another little Eoin Colfer, The Legend of Spud Murphy.
And there was a WW Shopping Guide one, too, which rates food as points.
I've just gone to Poem for The Day and find it is the wonderful George Herbert's Love, which has remained - on most days - my favoured poem of all time.
Still haven't found my way to Bemerton, his parish in the early 1600's, but it will be this year, as will many things.........
......like reflecting light-heartedly with you, all four of you, over the trials and tribulations of months passed and past, while i-t offers a refill, while we comment on it being this or that sort of year for tomatoes at the new house, while we discuss pruning the plumtree/other, while we note the swallows departing, while we wonder what will come up next Spring - all so exciting and new to know, while we comment on how well and settled F & A clearly are in their desired new school, while we enjoy the companionship and calm born of the long voyage and tough seas shared a thousand ways.
Do you just need another little reminder, dear people, all of you? -
we're here for the long haul and always were.

    Good morning everyone

    and Ampersand :grinheart

F,A, I-T and I send you :grouphug: and I've just made a :coffee: would you like one?

Well, Ampersand you certainly brought a huge grin to my face when I read your post - the Dunkerque spirit is flowing through your veins again - thank you!!

Am actually going over to D's today to take her out for a coffee and a slow wander around Berkhamstead (weather permitting), so I will only be able sort out appeal and 'continued interest' list when I get home this pm. I also hope that I hear from CAP with a letter or the TA - just something please:o .

Its sooooooooooooo........ cold here, thick ice all over my car windows - will take forever to scrape:confused:

Deifinitely, thankyou - am putting off kitchen sortie; already found it a touch chilly out there.

On 'phone to A earlier(rain bucketing down en route au boulot; he, lapin m-!-content thus)and read from the WW book. I'm astounded to see all the processed food they list.
I buy nothing like this, never have.
Exciting news for pania and other variant antipodeans(my main reason for phoning A)is that Mr T now sells:heartsmil :lovethoug MILO!:T :j . Saw it in aisle last night and screeched in delighted amazement. Proceeded to captivate poor man with adjacent trolley(well, he did have Vegemite on board - as good as a rolled up trouser leg, that)for several days(we camped mildly, upon those edibles and comestibles which Fortune had whimmed our way)and kept him enraptured with Tales of Pineapple Chunk lollies(sweeties), chocolate fish, Weetbix(the REAL ones, NOT weet-a-bix), milkshake lollies, SANZA's website/prices. He escaped under cover of uxorious command. 'Oh, THERE you are.' I recognised The Voice of SWMBA and let him depart.

Very relevant to your Thread, mot, all of this.
Milo means new life indeed:D  .

And, fool that I've been for several years now, just looked at Sainsbury's and find that they've had it normally since whenever.
BUT, A questioned me closely about WHICH country of mfr - there are differing versions, I know and they differ in taste. We shall see, but initially, 'manufactured in Kenya' does not bode well.

Having stewed apple with sultanas, nat. yog and black tea(is it ready yet, mot?), then my usual 2 oranges. Is this WW-ish? It's how I often start day.
Trouble is, I don't do bad eating, really - it's just the 5mths of enforced immobility that has been a killer.

    Hi A,

No your breakfast sounds really healthy! I have, albeit in storage, the WW basic foods guide which is probably more applicable to you as it is me - if you haven't found when by the time I get my stuff out you can have mine:D

:coffee: made and ready when you are xx

    Hi MOT,

Sorry to hear about the school places. I know the school that the kid's have been given a place at and it is very big but I also know a lot of people who have come out the other end and it isn't too bad. Honest! It isn't as bad as the one that I went to at the other end of town with the initials AC, that's for sure!

I know you put down H as your main choice, did you also put down Cav? I know that it has slipped in recent years but it has traditionally been one of the best schools in town, year in year out. A lot of the kids in my family go there and are doing very well. The facilities are pretty good too.

As Silvercar says, there may well be other chances, so good luck, and even if you do get L, it isn't as bad as you think xx

    Oh Ampersand,

You mentioned the M word. I'm going to have to go out and find Milo now. I lived on it as a kid in Melbourne!

    Hi all,

Had a lovely day with D - it so relaxing in her company a little like someone else I know Ampersand ;) and your kind regards to her were passed on thank you xx

Also has a lovely natter with Wol2 whilst sitting the sunshine outside school - what a fab place MSE is I have made some lovely friends :A :A

On a more sombre note - I have received THE LETTER :T :T :T :T from CAP confirming that the house is ours as soon as electrical works have been completed (not started yet!) so am now able to write to the Educ Auth and The Hemel school requesting that the twins be considered for this school due to its proximity (300 yds or so) - according to the Educ Auth website it could still be some months before we find out if they have been successful so
    ANOTHER hanging around period:confused::confused: .

    Hope you're all ok xx
