    Hi all,

On a more sombre note - I have received THE LETTER :T :T :T :T from CAP confirming that the house is ours as soon as electrical works have been completed (not started yet!) so am now able to write to the Educ Auth and The Hemel school requesting that the twins be considered for this school due to its proximity (300 yds or so) - according to the Educ Auth website it could still be some months before we find out if they have been successful so
    ANOTHER hanging around period:confused::confused: .

    Morning all,

Been to see CAP and completed Insolvency Papers in preparation for bankruptcy. CAP are also contacting new LL to see if they can find out a date for moving in to the new house. Also found out that CAP were voted Best Small Business Employer by the Sunday Times and contact at CAP says that it well deserved because he loves his job!

Also received paperwork in preparation for next Tuesdays steroid injection - not keen on having this :o but it has to make things better with my hip doesn't it????

Hey MOT - thanks for that - it made me laugh a lot. My DH roared - "even tempered!" Moi?!!!

Sorry you've got more steroids to come - but it will make a difference in the end I'm sure. Not surprised the CAP person loves his job - I used to work somewhere with lots of people who dealt with homelessness (I didn't - was doing a different job which is why I've never been able to come up with anything useful!) - but they all, to a person, did the job because they cared. That sort of job often (but sadly, as you know, not always) attracts people who do it for the love of helping above all else.

Anyway, things look like they're moving on - let's hope you get a date soon.

    xx

    Morning all -
beanielou - what is SOTW, please? I can only come up with Stay Off The Womething, if it relates to WW.
    Did own 1st weigh-in last night:eek: .
mot and I will be mutually encouraging and comparing over coming weeks - it's CORE for me, at first blush - in conjunction with Dr-referred gym/swim.
Moral: never let yourself be hit by large concrete paving slab from behind.
    It's a long road back.
What are you doing today, mot?
Are we woodstaining my fence? - haven't looked at weather forecast yet.
From msg, 1: is the SH thing worth pursuing, or might it be counter-productive?
2: please supply missing no.;) for ykw.

    Morning A,

Think it may be best to email me as my brain hasn't woken up enough to crack codes yet ;) !

Today is WW weigh in day and have no idea how I have done, could have lost, s/s but hopefully not gained! Then lunch with my hairdresser friend then it'll be time to collect kids!! AT some point I have some paperwork to do for the school admission and also for hospital appt next Tuesday (and some docs needed for Insolvency but most are in storage!!!) - but that will either be squeezed in today or done tomorrow.

    Hi MoT
re steroid injections - they work miracles!
I was scared by the horror stories but found that the reality was quite different. Anyway, the injection is over very quickly and it makes such a huge difference to my rheumatoid arthritis that I look forward to them!
I hope it works for you.

    Hi Luxor!

Thanks for reassuring post - I had 3 steroid injections in my back many moons ago and can't remember much about them. Could I just ask - do they hurt? Are you sedated?
