Is it me or are the timings of these posts out of kilter??jillie1974 wrote: »glad you had a great day out.
im hairspray the 'mother' is traditionally played by a male actor for some reason. i think john travolta played the same role in the recent film. tho must admit i would have preferred to see dirty dancing!!
any plans for today??
Yes, remember that JT played the Mother in the film - its a bit like panto really isn't it??
Just doing letters and forms for the twins secondary 'continued interest lists' and then my assessment form for the hospital on Tuesday :eek:Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
a fun day so!!
well we're off for a work dinner/!!!! up later
some cheap drinks at wetherspoons near trafford centre and then to a really nice curry house after.. but better stick to soft drinks first otherwise i will not enjoy the curry and prob spill half it on my new top!! treated myself to new jeans and top from new look.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
:oHas anyone else enjoyed 'Wild Hogs' with Mr JT?
I watch v.few films and recognise this is formulaic, rites-of-50ish-passage story, but I still laughed aloud a lot and felt warmly towards it on 2 repeat watches.
Probably it's because I see so few films....
mot, wish I was closer and could be the invisible fairy intermediary for twins' collections and pick-ups. We'll work on bettering this from within you later - time will help, you know, as will the security of new house>home, as it shakes down to bedrock experience in your new life.
Thinking of you strongly this afternoon.
LOVELY FOOTIE RESULTS YESTERDAY - that's the Proper Oval Ball, of course.
My new training r!gime with Wales is going down a storm - yes, I AM Warren Gatland's eminence grise.
(Bit of a rush - had to hurry back, change cozzie, to polish off England in the First Test, managed with embarrassing ease. I love hearing Sir G. Boykers in Rant mode.)
Nice SOCCER results, too - that's the round ball game.
Up the Underdogs! - rule of life.
Except it's France, la belle, face à l'Italie this arvo.
Sorry. i-t:o .

Michael Ball was on Desert Island discs last week. Realised before too long that I'd been confusing him with Michael Crawford - remain unenamoured of both.

Sorry Hairspray wasn't better - had heard good reviews too - but it just goes to show!
Ooooh to Dirty Dancing 'Nobody puts Baby in a corner' - my absolute favourite film. Hope the show lives up to it!
Glad you had a good day - it's good to get out of routine and do something special.
Of course, being a commuter, I never talk to anyone on a tube or a train!
Enjoy the rest of your day

Hi all!!!
Had lovely surprise visit from my sister and BIL at lunchtime and they didn't go until 7.30pm! And yes, A, she was in a good mood all the time - I was so pleased:j . And that's also why I didn't call you back Wol but yes would love a natter tomorrow please :T.
Ampersand, the Wild Hogs film is one we have wanted to see for ages really must get it out on dvd.
Letter received back from twins Papa with various objections to what was asked of him, so a reply from me has now been emailed to him politely telling him why he needs to do what has been asked. Letter from him was not written in quite the same way as usual and twins said that g/f had actually typed it - she put the word 'regards' at the bottom for a start which never happens:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
Hello mot -
EVERYONE BE CAREFUL OUTSIDE TODAY, PLEASE.
BETTER STILL, DON'T GO OUT IF YOU DON'T REALLY HAVE TO.
:A Yesterday's over now, mot - bury it.:A
I'm so glad you had a happy surprise afternoon with sis and bil.
Instead, anticipate the joys of your  steroid jab  tomorrow, while I'm ECG'ing, bloodletting and various. We'll exchange simultaneous vibes:rolleyes:.
I watched Wiilie HC and his choc. venture last night. I can see that some people will dislike him, find him frenetic, their desperate finances(within well-heeled families)NOT desperate in the ms dfw sense, BUT I think he and she both are giving their children marvellous parenting templates and memories(yes, yes, on camera, I know). I'm being ludicrous to be so defensive of someone on box - Freudian shallows being plumbed here, sans doute.:D
wol, please hold mirror to yourself when you make such kind compliments.
