Hi J,
Kind of nice that the new LL is making sure everything is up to standard. I don't know if I missed this being asked but is there anyway you could move in and have the work done around you? Easter will be here soon, it'll be nice to have the time to move in over Easter with te twins around to help out too. I hope everything is going well otherwise.0 -
Just a quickie to wish you good luck for tomorrow - I'll be thinking of you. I'm sure it will be fine.

BM, I don't think LL can can legally rent out property without an update Electrical Certificate and apparently until the rewiring is done then it wouldn't pass

........and BlueMonkey will attest to this, as I've just replied to a pm from her.
Was saying I've been reading and listening to the wind all night.
Doing the fasting thing as required for today and getting up for more warm water quite often.
I'm currently reading(from my ongoing Library, into which I delve according to mood and need; usually have at least a dozen books on the go, in addition to ever-present poetry) what I can class as 19th Century chicklit - 'Doreen, The Singer', by Mrs Edna Lyall, a better than average churner of many similar 'novels', at a time when this very word was deemed ignoble reading for many young women. The giver has written 'Elizabeth McT Symmers, from K. McT S, 13th July, 1895', boldly to the free ifep. It mixes in some good Irish history(being written in the cause of Home Rule THEN.....)but the lines which compelled me from bed, to switch on computer, are these, mot:
'.......;when one comes to think of it all, the hard work and the anxiety and sorrow and then this sudden reaction of feeling has been a great strain upon her.'
So, Mrs Lyall was giving good advice and understanding, ahead of your very natural turmoiling, which - for me, at least - earns her a place on this Thread supporting you.
I have been thinking anyway of this week bringing up your first half-year since posting in September.
Hope you received last night's text as idea seems as sensible/promising now in cold light of dawn as during reflective previous day or two.
Soft hugs and may your jab be as painlessly received as those given by my nurse Kathryn....so far.
Compare notes later.
Love to all.
Ah, your light's off now, mot, hopefully bye's again.

Hi A,
No light went off as don't keep myself permanently logged in on this computer, and was just searching for some sort of mind numbing job that I could do for a few hours to bring some extra money in as I'm finding it really hard going at the moment - I think its the petrol more than anything as I'm using about £50 a week to take the twins to and from school  and its breaking me!
The words of Mrs Lyall'.......;when one comes to think of it all, the hard work and the anxiety and sorrow and then this sudden reaction of feeling has been a great strain upon her.' have never sounded so true!!
Yes, got your text last night but didn't reply as you were in beddy byes
but anything to make life easier as far ex H is concerned is much appreciated - you are so perceptive you know A, as I have had an awful couple of weeks due to his unfortunate continued existence in my life. I am such a placid normally calm person yet I have felt filled with such horrible feelings for him.
Good luck today with your medical interventions too xxChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
